 St Jude's Catholic Primary School - Partnership

Passover Meal
The Parish Passover Meal will be held in the school hall on Saturday 20 March at 12.30. Tickets are available from the school office at £6.00 each. Please make cheques payable to PRCDTR Fareham Sacred Heart. Proceeds are in aid of the Lenten Appeal supporting Adopt Sri Lanka. Children welcome, under 3s free.

Parents’ Evenings will take place on Monday 1 March from 3.30pm – 6.00pm and Thursday 4 March from 5.00pm – 8.00pm. Please remember to sign up for an appointment or contact your child’s teacher if you are unable to come in personally.

World Book Day is on Thursday 4 March
Your child will be bringing home a World Book Day Voucher (worth £1) which can be used towards books purchased from the Scholastic Book club – your child will have brought home order forms. The closing date for the Scholastic Book club is Friday 12 March – payment by cash or cheques made payable to Scholastic Ltd. We will be celebrating Book Week later in March – more information to follow.

Sainsbury’s Vouchers
We are again collecting Active Kids Vouchers from Sainsbury’s. Please collect your Vouchers and send them into school, we have a collecting box in reception.

Fareham Library
Saturday 20 March from 10.00am – 12 noon. Family Cartoon Drawing Workshop – come along for the chance to work with a professional artist to develop your very own cartoon character. This is for families with children aged 7 and over. Tickets cost £3 and are available from the library or telephone 01329 284902

2nd Fareham Brownies meet at St.Philip Howard Church Hall on Mondays from 5.45pm – 7.15pm; they have vacancies for girls aged between 7 and 10. Feel free to come along for a taster session – contact Lorne Fry for more details on 01329 285779

Billy Elliot is playing at Ferneham Hall from Monday 8 – Wednesday 10 March at 7.30pm. This is an inspirational story of one boy’s dream to be a dancer and one of our pupils is realising her dream by dancing in the production. Tickets are available from Ferneham Hall – 01329 231942
