VALENTINE'S DAY LUNCH
Thank
you for all pupils who have returned their slips and money for the Valentine's
Day lunch taking place on 14 February.e
CHILDREN'S
MISSION BOXES
Please
can all the mission boxes be returned to the school office by Friday 31
January? Thank you.
GREAT
NEWS!
The
English Primary School league tables have been published and I am very
pleased to report that St Jude's is placed at No 25 in Hampshire out of
a total number of 308 schools. Well done to all the pupils who have helped
us get to this position.
SCHOOL
LINK
If
you would like to order any books please return your completed order forms
to school, quoting our school link number 3175298, in a clearly
marked envelope. Please return orders by Friday 31 January. Thank
you.
UNCLAIMED
RAFFLE PRIZES
There
are a few unclaimed raffle prizes from the Bonfire night draw. They are
green tickets with the reference number: MG86 TU47. Numbers: 329 and 465.
Please collect your prizes from the office.
LOST
CARDIGANS!
If
anyone has too many cardigans at home or any that they think may not belong
to them can you please return them to the school office? One child in
school has lost both her cardigans in the last few weeks. Thank you.
TESCO
VOUCHERS
If
anyone shops at Tesco could you please collect the Computers for Schools
vouchers for Mrs Slattery. Thank you.
PARKING
OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL
Would
parents, and any other adult responsible for dropping pupils and collecting
them from school, please note that the lay-by directly outside the gates
is a Bus Stop and has double yellow lines along the kerb. We would be
very grateful if you did not park your cars in the lay-by as this causes
terrible congestion and is also a safety risk for the children as they
come to and go from school. It is perfectly acceptable for you to drop
children in the lay-by but we would like to ask that you do not park in
the lay-by and leave your car unattended. If you need to park your car
to bring your child/children into school could you please use the St Philip
Howard church car park? We would not like an accident to happen to any
child coming or going from school!
FIRST
HOLY COMMUNION
Would
parents please note the change of date for the parents meeting. It has
been moved from Wednesday 12 February to Thursday 13 March 2003, as Father
Chris Whelan is on a course and Mrs Christine McGrew is away with school
on a residential trip. A letter to confirm this will come home with children
on Saturday 8 February 2003.
