Our school council have arranged an Easter Raffle with lots of prizes – to raise funds for playground equipment. Tickets are on sale every day and cost 20p each.
Wizkid
We will be starting to use Wizkid in the near future. This is the learning platform that Hampshire County Council recommends for schools and is an online resource that brings together a range of technology into one place.
Wizkid is a safe environment in which children can work together across classes, year groups and beyond. Wizkids enables us to have video and audio lessons, it is simple to link into websites and documents and is also safe for the children to chat and discuss their learning. Wizkid has a huge potential for sharing resources across the county and will benefit the teachers and children in working together in lots of different ways.
There will be photographs of the children on Wizkid but will only be available within our school community. However, if you do not wish your child’s picture to be on the learning platform please notify the school in writing of your objections. We will be holding a parent information evening next term where further details will be available, however, we would also be grateful if you could inform us if you do not have internet access at home as soon as possible.
Car Parking
As you are no doubt aware parents are not permitted to park in the school car park unless they are displaying the correct pass. We have changed the colour of the passes and anyone in receipt of a green one needs to collect their new pass from the school office as soon as possible. Thank you for your support in this matter. We would like to ask parents using the church car park to take extra care at the beginning and end of each day when there are lots of children milling around.

Summer Fayre - Saturday 13th June The first meeting for the summer fayre will be on Monday 30th March at 7.30pm. The PFA need volunteers to help organise this big event and all help is extremely welcomed. We need ideas for stalls etc, help in writing to companies to ask for donations of prizes for the raffle, stamps will be provided, or maybe you have contacts for providing entertainment in the show. If, however, you are unable to attend the meetings we still need your help and ideas. This is our main fundraising event of the year and benefits our children at St. Jude’s. Therefore, we would be grateful for any help you can spare.
